NBC announces return dates for 'This is Us,' 'Will & Grace'

June 19 (UPI) -- Season 2 of the celebrated, family drama This is Us is to premiere on NBC Sept. 26.Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders will begin airing that evening, as well.The network announced the debuts along with the rest of its fall schedule Monday.The new edition of The Voice will begin Sept. 25, the same night the Anne Heche-Mike Vogel thriller The Brave starts.Sept. 27 will see the returns of Law & Order: SVU and Chicago P.D.Will & Grace is back after an 11-year hiatus, joining the sitcom lineup of Superstore, The Good Place and Great News, on Sept. 28.The Blacklist will kick off its new season on Oct. 4 and Blindspot will resume Oct. 27.Let's block ads! Stars including Emeli Sande, Pixie Lott, and Stormzy have gathered to record a Grenfell Tower charity single.The cover of Simon and Garfunkel's hit Bridge Over Troubled Water was organised by Simon Cowell.Other stars including Rita Ora and Leona Lewis recorded parts for the song on Saturday.Sande said: "It's really inspiring to see people come together. June 17 (UPI) -- Actors Sylvester Stallone and Ralph Macchio paid tribute to the late director John Avildsen, who directed their most famous movies -- Rocky and The Karate Kid, respectively.Avildsen's son Anthony told The Los Angeles Times Friday the filmmaker died of pancreatic cancer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
