Aug. 22 (UPI) -- The NFL has suspended Los Angeles Chargers center Max Tuerk for violating its policy on performance enhancing substances.Tuerk will sit out the team's first four games of the 2017 season as a result of the ban, according to the Chargers. He will not be paid during the suspension. Tuerk can return to the Chargers' active roster on Monday, Oct. 2, a day after the Chargers battle the Philadelphia Eagles.
