Pittsburgh Steelers outlast Green Bay Packers on Chris Boswell's 53-yard FG

Sports
PITTSBURGH -- The last time the Green Bay Packers came to Heinz Field, Aaron Rodgers and Ben Roethlisberger hooked up in a duel for the ages. No one expected anything like it Sunday night, particularly with Brett Hundley playing for Rodgers. But it went down to the final play again, this time Chris Boswell's 53-yard field goal with no time left giving the Pittsburgh Steelers a 31-28 win. Hundley, the third-year injury replacement, gave Roethlisberger and the Steelers the full Rodgers treatment with touchdown passes of 39, 54 and 55 yards, but the old veteran Roethlisberger found his go-to receiver, Antonio Brown, in the late going to set up Boswell's game-winning kick. Pittsburgh (9-2) won its sixth consecutive game while Green Bay (5-6) lost its second in a row. The duel started early and...

England beat Tonga to reach final of Rugby League World Cup for first time in 22 years

Sports
England withstood a dramatic late fightback from a passionate Tonga to reach their first World Cup final for 22 years.Prolific winger Jermaine McGillvary scored for the 10th game in a row to put his side on their way to a 20-0 lead but England were hanging on grimly by the end after the Pacific Islanders, roared on by a fervent following of more than 25,000 fans, scored three converted tries in the last seven minutes.Tonga might have snatched it in the dying seconds when prop Andrew Fifita went on a charge for the line only to lose the ball in the tackle and England clung on for a pulsating 20-18 victory. It may get tougher for England on the pitch when they face holders Australia in Brisbane next Saturday but at least they will not have to contend with a cauldron-like atmosphere generated ...
