CLEARED: All charges against Jim Davidson were dropped

However, Operation Yewtree – which exposed the horrific abuse carried out by late BBC presenter Jimmy Savile – found nothing against the star and all allegations were dropped.

His lawyer Henri Brandman said: “My client Jim Davidson was arrested a number of months ago in respect to allegations of a historical sexual nature.

“He is pleased to have received news today that there will be no further action relating to the allegations.”
