Cheryl was left fuming on tonight’s episode of The Greatest Dancer.
The songstress looked visibly shocked after her ex-boyfriend Liam Payne made a surprise appearance on the show.
A dazzling performance from Frobacks saw the group inundated with messages of support from a number of celebrities, including Robbie Williams.
Perrie Edwards also appeared on the screen behind the group to invite them to watch Little Mix perform.
But while the audience applauded the celebrity appearances, they were most definitely not prepared for what happened next.
Suddenly, Liam 25, appeared on the screen via a FaceTime call, where he also left the guys an encouraging message.
Her baby-daddy even asked Cheryl to hand over the phone to the dancers.
“Chez, can you put Frobacks on please”, he demanded.
And Cheryl did not look impressed at all, as she reluctantly handed over her phone before making a series of angry expressions at the camera.
Liam continued to address the group, telling them: “Hey man, you guys are killing it. I’d love you to teach me some tricks sometime so make sure you get my number of Chez.”
But ironically, it was Cheryl herself who had roped Liam into making a surprise appearance on the BBC dance show, along with Robbie and Perrie.
Viewers at home quickly rushed to Twitter to share their shock.
One user wrote: “Nahhh [sic] as if Cheryl used Liam in one of her acts routines. And she says she doesn’t like the attention? #thegreatestdancer.”
A second added: “What the heck did I just watch? Cheryl’s face, Oh my God #TheGreatestDancer #bbc #bbcone #GreatestDancer.”
And a third fan chimed: “Fully started howling when Cheryl Factimed Liam #TheGreatestDancer thought he was gonna decline.”
Another viewer tweeted: “That call from Liam to Cheryl was Iconic! #thegreatestdancer.”
While a final fan wrote: “Damn, @LiamPayne popping up during @FroBacks performance on the @GreatDancerTV. Wasn’t expecting that! Just shows @CherylOfficial and Liam are still good friends.”
