The track is being billed as make or break for Liam Payne’s baby mama due to the fact she’s not had a hit since 2014.
On Saturday, a cheeky supporter of Cheryl took to Twitter to post a clip of her infamous 2012 Stand Up To Cancer performance of Call My Name.
In one of the biggest TV live fails ever, Cheryl lip syncs for her life during a high-energy rendition of the single.
However, apparently due to a technical error, the vocals fail to be played over the top leaving Cheryl totally exposed.
Rather than the northern gal showing off her singing talent, all that can be heard coming from her mouth is a few heavy breaths and a barely-audible whisper.
In just a matter of days, the video has been viewed over 106,000 times.
Commenting on the post, one fan wrote: Looks like she was planning to mime (which makes sense because of the dancing), but the audio track failed so she had to sing live in the end.”
Another added: “So awful.”
“I’m dying I remember this! Haha,” a third continued.
Cheryl’s BFF and producer Naughty Boy recently spilled all about her upcoming record to Daily Star Online.
The music-ace said: “It is 100% personal and it’s about time people got to know the real Cheryl.
“I think when you are writing songs there is a different vulnerability and that comes out through songwriting, so I am proud of her that she got more involved this time and not just as a singer.
“The lyrics really mean something to her – sometimes you have to put a bit of heart for people to see that there is a real struggle.”
