Conor McGregor released footage of him dropping a sparring partner with a vicious left-hand ahead of his UFC 229 fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

For MMA experts around the world, this will be the biggest fight in combat sport history, but has proved to be the most divisive as well.

Most recently, reigning UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley predicted Khabib would prove too strong over the course of five rounds.

However, he may wish to change his predictions after seeing this footage.

In the clip, McGregor can bee seen working on his supposedly ‘weak’ wrestling and honing his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) skills, where he holds a Brown belt.

Alongside fellow MMA fighter Dillon Danis, the 29-year-old can be seen stuffing takedowns and practising his world-famous striking combinations.

Having brought BJJ black belt Ayub Magomadov into his Straight Blast Gym in Ireland, it appears as though the former two-weight world champion thanked him by knocking him out cold with a trademark ‘Celtic Cross’.
