Coronation Street’s Kevin Webster is famous for his signature dark blue boiler suit.
Michael Le Vell, the actor who plays him, is rarely seen wearing anything else.
But when the 54-year-old arrived at the Cheltenham races on Friday wearing a sophisticated suit, he was barely recognisable.
The actor was joined by his co-star Alan Halsall, who most will know as the character Tyrone Dobbs.
The two looked fantastic in their formalwear, leaving the streets of Corrie behind them.
Michael opted for a three-piece suit made from a checkered grey wool, with a long black overcoat.
He allowed his salt and pepper beard to grow out, giving off a very dapper impression altogether.
The dad-of-two paired the outfit with a peach striped tie and a traditional tweed paddy cap.
Alan followed his lead and wore a nearly identical hat to the event.
The 36-year-old also donned a black blazer with a matching waistcoat, and light grey trousers.
On his wrist he wore a classic black watch with a slender leather strap.
A crisp white shirt and a skinny black tie completed the look.
They showed off their fancy get-up by posing for pictures together by the racecourse.
The crowd in The Rover Return wouldn’t recognise the duo, as their mechanic’s overalls were nowhere to be seen.
