The rumour-mill went into overdrive today regarding reports that David and Victoria Beckham were on the brink of splitting up.
The pair who have been married for 19-years found themselves at the centre of speculation.
But a rep for fashion mogul and former Spice Girl Victoria, 44, shut down the claims.
In a statement to Daily Star Online, the rep said: “If I spent all my time responding to ridiculous Beckham gossip and rumours there wouldn’t be enough hours in the day. What nonsense.”
The Mirror also claimed the rumour was branded “a crock of s***, “embarrassing” and “laughable”.
And now David, 43, has taken to social media to break his silence following his wife’s rep shutting down the rumours.
Posting on the official David Beckham Instagram page, the former footie star posted a black and white snap to his 46.4m followers.
The pic which was promoted a paid partnership with male grooming brand House 99, saw the dad-of-four wrapping up his hands as he appeared to get set for a boxing match.
David did not address the split speculation in the post.
Following the mounting rumours, bookies suspended odds that the couple are to break up.
Paddy Power told Daily Star Online: “We’ve decided to suspend betting on the separation between Posh and Becks.
A rep for the couple told the publication: “There is no statement due or divorce.
“This is just fake social media news. This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time.
“There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news.”
