The Danish senior players are refusing to play over a dispute with their FA over commercial rights
Denmark fell to a 3-0 defeat while fielding amateur players for their friendly against Slovakia on Wednesday night.
The nation’s first choice stars are currently refusing to sign a new national team agreement with the Danish Football Association as they are in a stand-off over commercial rights.
As such, the country were forced to select eleven little-known players for their friendly against a strong Slovakian side in Trnava.
Premier League stars Christian Eriksen, Andreas Christensen and Kasper Schmeichel missed out while Christian Offenberg, a salesman, started up front and student Simon Vollessen was right-back.
Marek Hamsik, Vladimir Weiss and captain Martin Skrtel were among those who started for the hosts.
Goals from Adam Nemec, Albert Rusnak and an Adam Fogt own goal meant the fixture ended 3-0.
Slovakia: Kozacik, Hubocan, Skrtel, Satka, Mazan, Kucka, Hrosovsky, Rusnak, Hamsik, Weiss, Nemec.
Denmark: Haagh, Vollesen, Daniel Nielsen, Johanson, Priisholm, Bannis, Johansen, Hojbye, Gaudin, Kempel, Offenberg.
