Dog the Bounty Hunter – real name Duane Chapman – was pictured for the first time following the death of his wife Beth Chapman yesterday.
Beth slipped away after a medically-induced coma, following a long battle with throat and lung cancer.
Duane and Beth became household name sin 2004 with hit show Dog the Bounty Hunter.
The programme saw Dog and his family members travelling around America trying to catch fugitives.
TV favourite Duane was pictured outside his family compound making an emotional phone call outside his family home in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dog could be seen tentatively placing a hand on his heart as he paced the terrace.
He was joined by other relatives who were also snapped making phone calls, following the tragic news of Beth’s passing.
The Chapmans have invited fans to leave cards and flowers outside their home to pay tribute to Beth.
Dog confirmed the news of Beth’s passing on his Twitter page yesterday.
Addressing his 553,000 followers, Dog penned: “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain.
“Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven.
“We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”
TMZ also confirmed the news, adding that Beth had died at a Honolulu hospital.
