Liverpool can at last call themselves world champions after winning the Club World Cup for the first time in their history.
They were made to work hard for it though as Brazilian side Flamengo pushed them all the way.

But Roberto Firmino’s goal in extra-time gave Liverpool the trophy at the fourth attempt of asking.
Things are going very well for Liverpool this season as they currently have an eleven-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
And while winning the Club World Cup or Super Cup back in August will not compare to the prospect of winning a first ever Premier League crown, the Reds will be sure to celebrate being victorious once more.
