Meghan was seen meeting the cast of the film while at the event, which includes Beyoncé.
The Duchess was seen hugging the songstress, who voices Nala in the live action movie, as they spoke before the film was aired.
Meghan also embraced Elton John, who appears on the soundtrack of the new film.
Beyoncé, who attended the premiere with husband Jay-Z, also looked beautiful as she rocked a floor-length peephole dress.
Other celebrities at the event included Pharrell Williams, presenter Maya Jama, and X Factor star Alexandra Burke.
As well as Beyonce, The Lion King remake sees Chiwetel Ejiofor providing the voice of Scar and James Earl Jones voicing Mufasa.
The film hits UK cinemas on 19 July.
