Suarez’s brace included an audacious panenka penalty while Raphael Varane netted an own-goal
Luis Suarez scored twice to help earn Barcelona a 3-0 win (4-1 on aggregate) over Real Madrid in El Clasico and secure them a place in the Copa del Rey final for sixth consecutive season.
The home side were dominant but failed to take any of their chances and, following a goalless first-half, Barcelona made the breakthrough when Suarez finished from Ousmane Dembele’s cross.
An own-goal from Raphael Varane on 69 minutes doubled Barcelona’s advantage and Suarez added his second with an audacious penalty, which he chipped past Keylor Navas.
