talkSPORT looks ahead to the Group A clash on Monday
Saudi Arabia and Egypt are both looking to end their World Cup 2018 with victories as they bow out in Group A.
The two nations have been eliminated but will want a triumph to at least put a gloss on their time at tournament.
You can hear the encounter live on talkSPORT 2 at 3pm.
What the managers are saying
Juan Antonio Pizzi (Saudi Arabia): “We’ve seen that certain concepts work, we’ve seen alternatives, we’ve tried to bring in new players as well, and this experience that we have had specifically in the run-up to this World Cup has been very important.
“We will focus on the Asian Cup and I am absolutely convinced, 100 per cent sure, that we will continue to improve in the next six months and that we will be able to compete at the highest level and go there to win the cup.”
Hector Cuper (Egypt): “This is an important match because we want to win and finish with a good result.
“We have prepared for it well and we want to represent the Egyptian people and make them happy with a victory.”
What the players are saying
Fahad Al-Muwallad (Saudi Arabia): “Everyone has done their best.
“The managers of the team gave us a great deal of support, Saudi Arabia supported us. Perhaps we wasted a few opportunities, but we have a chance to make up for what happened since the beginning. We have a bright future ahead of us as players. We want to win the three points and we want to make the Saudi fans happy and hope that we will be able to do so.”
Essam El-Hadary (Egypt): “I will be very happy if I participate and set the record.
“But it is not certain.”
