GWANGJU, South Korea, July 10 (UPI) -- Actor Kang Ji-hwan has been arrested without a warrant on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman and molesting another, both employees of his agency, police said Wednesday. The Gwangju Police Station took the 41-year-old actor into custody at his residence in the city of Gwangju, just south of Seoul, at around 10:50 p.m. Tuesday. Kang was suspected of sexually abusing the women while they were sleeping in a room of his house. The three of them were drinking at the house after holding a party with other members of the agency at an unspecified place. In the early morning hours of Wednesday, three Iraqi citizens living in a village in northwestern Germany were arrested on suspicion of preparing a bomb for a planned an “Islamist-motivated terror attack." Three men, identified only as Shahin F. and Hersh F., both 23, as well as Rauf S., 36, are in custody. All three have refugee status in Germany. “From our investigation, we are certain that Shahin F. and Hersh F. had seriously decided to carry out an attack,” said Frauke Koehler, spokesperson for Germany’s Federal Prosecutor’s office in a televised press statement on Wednesday afternoon. The man suspected of having a "terrorist motive" when he stabbed two American tourists in Amsterdam was still being interrogated Sunday by investigators, Dutch authorities told ABC News. The 19-year-old suspect, whom police only identified as Jawed S., was allegedly responsible for Friday's stabbing in the busy main railway station of Amsterdam, police said. He has a temporary German residence permit and was in the process of obtaining a permanent one, officials said.
