Chelsea have appointed former midfielder Frank Lampard as their manager on a three-year deal.Lampard, 41, has left Championship side Derby County to take over at a club where he spent 13 years as a player.He succeeds Maurizio Sarri, who left Stamford Bridge in June to take charge of Italian champions Juventus. June 6 (UPI) -- The St. Louis Blues are one win away from the franchise's first NHL championship after a 2-1 victory over the Boston Bruins in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday night. Blues goalie Jordan Binnington had a superb performance in net, stopping 38 of the 39 shots he faced. St. Louis has secured back-to-back wins since suffering a 7-2 blowout loss at home in Game 3. "[Binnington] was excellent all game and did a great job in the first period," Blues head coach Craig Berube told reporters. "We were tested in the first, for sure, and Binners stood tall. June 3 (UPI) -- The St. Louis Blues are making lineup changes following Saturday's 7-2 Stanley Cup Final loss to the Boston Bruins. Defenseman Vince Dunn, who has been out since taking a puck to the face in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, will return to the defensive pairing with Carl Gunnarsson on Monday night. Dunn replaces Robert Bortuzzo. "He moves the puck as good as anybody on our team from our own end out transition-wise," Blues coach Craig Berube said.
