Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Carolina Panthers star running back Christian McCaffrey was limited in practice Wednesday because of a new quad injury. Panthers head coach Matt Rhule told the team's official website that McCaffrey injured the quad last week while working out on his own during the team's bye. The coach said it "tightened up" in Wednesday's practice. Advertisement "We'll get him treatment and see if we can get him better," Rhule said. "I know how badly Christian wants to play. I know how badly Christian wants to help the Panthers win. I feel bad for him just like I would anybody if they're banged up." Cautioning investors over PACL's illegal money-pooling case, market regulator Sebi has advised them against dealing with any property where the group and its promoters have interests. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) found Pearls Agrotech Corporation (PACL) to have collected more than Rs 60,000 crore through illegal collective investment schemes over a period of 18 years. PACL had raised money from the public in the name of agriculture and real estate businesses. July 30 (UPI) -- The Cleveland Indians are trading All-Star pitcher Trevor Bauer to the Cincinnati Reds in a blockbuster deal. League sources told ESPN and MLB.com on Tuesday that Bauer is headed to the Reds as part of a three-team trade that includes the San Diego Padres. The Indians are acquiring outfielders Yasiel Puig and Franmil Reyes and left-hander Logan Allen, while the Padres will add OF prospect Taylor Trammell. The clubs haven't confirmed the deal. Bauer, who made his first All-Star Game in 2018, has a 9-8 record with a 3.79 ERA and 185 strikeouts in 24 starts this season. The 28-year-old pitcher is making $ 13 million this season and isn't a free agent until after the 2020 campaign.
