Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Seattle Seahawks defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is expected to make his debut with the franchise Sunday against the visiting New Orleans Saints. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told reporters Friday the Pro Bowl pass-rusher will play extensively against the Saints. "Ziggy's ready to play, ready to play football," Carroll said. "So we're excited to see that. It's been a really good process to get him to this, where he's in good shape, too. He's worked hard and long, so he's in better shape than sometimes when a guy is just coming back. Elliott, who has been training in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, during his holdout, returned to Dallas on Tuesday in the hopes of finding a long-term agreement. "I think Zeke is showing he's committed by coming back to Dallas. We didn't come here not to do a deal," Arceneaux told reporters at DFW International Airport. "We're talking. They're committed and we're committed. That's why we are here." Arceneaux said Elliott is in playing shape if a deal is reached this week. League sources told NFL Media that Elliott and the Cowboys are in the final stages of a con...

Elliott, who was not arrested nor charged in the case, continues to maintain his innocence. The Columbus city prosecutor said he didn't believe that he could make a case because of conflicting and inconsistent information. Elliott will try to discredit Tiffany Thompson in the appeal process by highlighting, her threats to "ruin his career," including one that was racially based, according to sources. The NFL announced Elliott's suspension Friday, saying it has photo and digital evidence supporting a finding "that (Elliott) engaged in physical violence against Ms. T...
