Mutual funds' average AUM touches all-time high of Rs 19.92 lakh crore
The average assets under management (AAUM) of Indian mutual fund industry for the month of June 2017 stood at Rs 19.92 lakh crore, according to the data released by Association of Mutual Funds in India. The assets under management of the industry on June 30, 2017 stood at at Rs 18.96 lakh crore. The asset base of the MF industry rose 7 per cent to Rs 19.52 lakh crore at the end of June quarter. According to AMFI, the AUM of the Indian MF industry has grown about six-fold increase in a span of 10 years. The assets under management of the MF industry stood at Rs 3.26 trillion as on 31st March 2007.
