Billionaire plans second mission to the moon for Israel

Science
April 14 (UPI) -- Billionaire Morris Kahn has announced plans for a second attempt to successfully land a spacecraft, Beresheet 2, on the moon for Israel -- a project that might take two years. On Saturday, the SpaceIL chairman said on Channel 12's Meet the Press, "we started something and we need to finish it. We'll put our flag on the moon." The 5-foot-tall Beresheet 1, the world's first privately funded moon lander, crashed into the moon while attempting a landing Thursday. Apparently, a technical glitch caused its main engine to stop mid-landing. Beresheet, whose name means "in the beginning" in Hebrew, was launched atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in February. The Israeli public has had their say!" He was shortly followed by the incumbent prime minister, who claimed his own "clear victory". World
Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro is about to leave on an official visit to Israel, where he's expected to decide whether he will move the Brazilian Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The far-right president has repeatedly promised to move the embassy to Jerusalem, despite longstanding complaints that such moves would complicate efforts to reach peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Bolsonaro in Rio de Janeiro in December and told reporters that "Bolsonaro said it was not a matter of if, but a matter of when." But Brazil's Vice President, Hamilton Mourao told reporters in January, "Brazil, for now, is not thinking of moving the embassy." Bolsonaro will meet with Netanyahu on Saturday followed by the signing of several agreements.Let...
