
Kate Mara asks if ‘A Teacher’ deserves forgiveness
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- In FX's new drama, A Teacher, Kate Mara plays Claire Wilson, a high school advanced placement English instructor who has an affair with her student, Eric Walker (Nick Robinson). Mara said she was interested in exploring how the character could redeem herself. "The big question for me was: Is her behavior worthy of forgiveness?" Mara said during a recent Television Critics Association panel. "It's obviously for the audience to decide and to talk about."
