Just this week, one mom who gave birth in August made the claim that she’s pocketed $ 6,000 by selling her milk to bodybuilders. The 24-year-old mom, Rafaela Lamprou, overproduces milk, according to the New York Post, so she sells the excess. It’s not clear why her body makes more milk than her infant son needs, but an oversupply can lead to uncomfortable side effects like breast engorgement and plugged ducts.RELATED: 10 Breastfeeding Myths and FactsLamprou said that she was initially giving away her excess milk to moms who had trouble breastfeeding. Patient app 'saves thousands of nursing hours'

An app designed by Great Ormond Street Hospital staff that replaces the traditional clipboard at the end of patients' beds has saved thousands of nursing hours and been hailed as a pioneering use of technology.Developed by GOSH clinical site practitioner and nurse Sarah Newcombe, the app enables staff to enter the vital signs of up to 350 patients using handheld devices rather than with pen and paper. The system generates automatic alerts to relevant specialist teams at the hospital if patients show signs of deterioration. It also enables staff to communicate directly with each other, and crucially they do not need to leave the bedside if they require help with acutely ill patients.Image:The vital signs of up to 350 patients can be monitoredMs Newcombe told Sky News the app had proved partic...

The 5-year-old lion lies unperturbed as the small leopard, estimated to be a few weeks old, nurses in the photographs taken Tuesday by a guest at a lodge in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a United Nations World Heritage site. "To observe a thing like this is very unusual," said Ingela Jansson, head of the KopeLion conservation group, which seeks to resolve conflict between lions and local residents who hunt the predators in order to protect their livestock. The lactating lion, fitted with a GPS collar so that researchers can track her, may have lost her own cubs and therefore was open to feeding the leopard cub, Jansson said. The leopard, meanwhile, appeared to have lost conta...
