Harry Redknapp has backed Frank Lampard to be a success as a manager following his appointment as Derby County boss.The former Chelsea and England midfielder, who has taken his coaching badges since retiring as a player in early 2017, has penned a three-year deal with the Championship club to succeed Gary Rowett, who left Pride Park earlier this month to join relegated Stoke City. Though he has no experience of senior football management, and is arriving at a club who have ambitions to reach the Premier League following a number of promotion near misses over the last few years, Lampard has been backed to do a good job with Derby.
