A shareholder in Flybe when it collapsed this year with the loss of thousands of jobs is in talks with its administrators about a potentially controversial bid to resuscitate the regional airline. Sky News has learnt that Cyrus Capital, a hedge fund with offices in Mayfair, is behind a plot to reacquire some of Flybe's assets, despite the devastating impact of the coronavirus pandemic on Britain's aviation industry. Cyrus Capital, which is run in Europe by Lucien Farrell, is understood to be in discussions with EY - which was appointed to handle the company's insolvency in March - about a deal.It is said to want to relaunch a smaller version of Flybe next year, although the precise timetable would be subject to a recovery in passenger demand and the removal of coronavirus-related quarantin...

To encourage continuation of risk cover in this difficult period, LIC on Sunday said it will provide an opportunity for its policyholders to revive their lapsed policies. It has decided to launch a special revival campaign from August 10 till October 9 for its customers to revive their individual lapsed LIC policies. "In view of the prevailing circumstances, no concessions are being offered in medical requirements and the same are limited to late fee only; under plans other than term assurance and other high risk plans," LIC said in a statement. Under this Special Revival Campaign, it said, policies of specific eligible plans can be revived within five years from date of the first unpaid premium subject to certain terms and conditions. NEW YORK, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Eric McCormack has mixed emotions about Will & Grace ending again, but hasn't ruled out another revival of the sitcom. Co-starring Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes, the show will wrap up this spring after 246 episodes on NBC. The series about a gay lawyer and his straight female best friend/roommate originally ran from 1998 to 2006. It was revived for three seasons starting in 2017. "It's over for me. MUMBAI: A dedicated bankruptcy court has accepted the resolution plan submitted by a consortium led by investor Kalpraj Dharamshi and Rekha Jhunjhunwala, wife of ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, for the revival of Ricoh India, the largest player in printing and document solutions. The local subsidiary of the Japanese firm had filed voluntary insolvency last year. It had drawn bids from Kotak Investment Advisors Ltd, Bengaluru-based WeP Solutions and Karvy Data Management Systems. Late Thursday, the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) uploaded its order where the tribunal had approved the resolution plan submitted by the consortium led by Dharamshi and Jhunjhunwala.
