Mideast stock markets tumbled over fears about the widening outbreak's effect on the global economy. The state oil giant Saudi Aramco led the financial losses, dropping by 10% on Riyadh's Tadawul stock exchange and forcing a halt to Aramco's trading. In the Mideast, there have been over 7,600 confirmed cases, with the vast majority in hard-hit Iran. The United Nations has said that it believes that the Saudi crown prince could be involved in the hacking of Amazon boss Jeff Bezos' mobile phone.Mr Bezos, the world's richest man, allegedly received a WhatsApp message in 2018 that contained a malicious file, said to be from the personal account of the Saudi Arabian leader Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman. Nov. 19 (UPI) -- The U.S. Navy began production last month on a multi-mission surface combatant ship for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A "cut steel" ceremony was held Oct. 24 at Fincantieri Marinette Marine in Marinette, Wisc., which constitutes the start of construction on the first of Saudi Arabia's MMSC vessels, Naval Sea Systems Command announced this week. Representatives of both the U.S. Navy and Royal Navy Saudi Forces attended the ceremony at the FMM facility where the company has been working on the vessel.
