Sony has announced it plans to launch its new console, the PlayStation 5, at the end of 2020.Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO and president Jim Ryan confirmed the PS5 would be "launching in time for Holiday 2020" in a post on the company's blog page. Sony has officially ended production of its PS Vita games console.The handheld console has been gradually phased out over the past few years - and this weekend Sony announced it would be discontinuing the Vita's final two models.
