June 17 (UPI) -- Actors Sylvester Stallone and Ralph Macchio paid tribute to the late director John Avildsen, who directed their most famous movies -- Rocky and The Karate Kid, respectively.Avildsen's son Anthony told The Los Angeles Times Friday the filmmaker died of pancreatic cancer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
