Dec. 2 (UPI) -- The Detroit Lions placed rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson on season-ending injured reserve with a right ankle injury, the team announced Monday. Hockenson sustained the ankle injury during the fourth quarter of the Lions' loss to the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day. He was taken to the locker room following the injury and didn't return to the contest. Lions head coach Matt Patricia said he doesn't know yet whether Hockenson will require surgery. "Certainly, I think a guy that was consistent from Day 1," Patricia told reporters Monday. "Someone that worked really hard. I think he improved as the spring, training camp and season came along. April 21 (UPI) -- Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie underwent successful surgery on a fractured right clavicle, the team announced Sunday. The team said Oshie is out indefinitely due to the injury. Sources told the Washington Post that Oshie is "almost certain" to miss the remainder of the Stanley Cup playoffs after he had surgery Friday. Carolina Hurricanes forward Warren Foegele boarded Oshie during the third period of Game 4 in the first-round series Thursday. Oshie remained on the ice for several minutes after the hit. He eventually went to the locker room, clutching his right arm. Foegele received a minor penalty for the hit. Oshie didn't play during the Capitals' 6-0 win over the Hurricanes on Saturday. GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Arizona Cardinals rookie running back T.J. Logan will undergo surgery to repair a dislocated wrist and will be placed on injured reserve. The fifth-round pick out of North Carolina was injured during Thursday night's Hall of Fame Game against the Dallas Cowboys. He will miss at least 12 weeks. Coach Bruce Arians said the team would like to activate Logan off injured reserve when he is eligible. That would be at or around Week 8 of the regular season. July 25 (UPI) -- The Carolina Panthers have made some changes on their depth chart at wide receiver after signing T.J. Graham and waiving Charles Johnson.Carolina signed Graham on Monday. The 27-year-old was a third round pick by the Buffalo Bills in the 2012 NFL Draft. Graham played two seasons in Buffalo before signing with the New York Jets in 2014. He suited up for the New Orleans Saints in 2015.Graham has 794 yards and four touchdowns on 61 career receptions. He played collegiately at North Carolina State. He played last season for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.
