Nov. 6 (UPI) -- U.S. Marines at Camp Kinser at Okinawa, Japan, are performing specialized checks of 3rd Maintenance Battalion equipment, a statement on Friday said. The battalion's 3rd Marine Logistics Group, an element of the Marine Depot Maintenance Command, left its home base at Logistics Base Albany, Ga., in October and was deployed to Okinawa to conduct calibration tests in support of the Fleet Marine Force. New Delhi: Vakrangee Ltd on Friday said the Reserve Bank has granted in-principle approval to set up Bharat Bill Payment Operating Unit (BBPOU) to handle payment services related to bills. Vakrangee (VL) has received in-principle authorisation to set up and operate BBPOU under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), it said in a release. July 20 (UPI) -- The U.S. Air Force announced Monday that it for the first time used a specially-designed isolation chamber to transport a COVID-19 patient from the Indo-Pacific region to the United States for treatment. It was the first use by the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command of the new Transport Isolation System, though it is the 18th use of the system since it's rollout in April. June 22 (UPI) -- A sudden increase in COVID-19 infections at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam is under investigation, officials said on Monday. An unidentified Air Force unit arrived in Guam on May 25, and 35 of its members have been hospitalized and quarantined since.
