Manchester United beat Real Madrid in a farcical friendly penalty shoot-out, but there were plenty of positives for Red Devils fans to take from the game.
United made it four games unbeaten, winning 2-1 on spot-kicks following a 1-1 draw, as they made it four matches unbeaten so far in pre-season.
As Jose Mourinho builds towards the 2017-18 campaign there were also some concerning displays from his players, but the general feeling is one of optimism among United fans.
