Northampton have sacked their manager Dean Austin.
The 48-year-old took over in May 2017, having initially been placed in caretaker charge following the departure of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

He could not help the club avoid relegation from Sky Bet League One, and the Cobblers now have just one win from 12 matches in all competitions this season.
They were beaten 4-0 at Mansfield on Saturday and are 21st in the table.
A brief club statement read: “Northampton Town can confirm following discussions that they have parted company with manager Dean Austin.
“Dean has worked extremely hard for the football club both last season and this. We thank him for his efforts and we wish him well for the future.”
