The RTGS facility will not be available on Sunday, April 18, for 14 hours from 00:00 hrs to 14.00 hrs, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) informed via a press release. "A technical upgrade of RTGS, targeted to enhance the resilience and to further improve the Disaster Recovery Time of the RTGS system, is scheduled after the close of business of April 17, 2021. Accordingly, RTGS service will not be available from 00:00 hrs to 14.00 hrs on Sunday, April 18, 2021. The NEFT system will continue to be operational as usual during this period," the RBI release stated. Seoul, March 4 (UPI) -- Commercial satellite imagery shows that a coal-fired steam plant is in operation at North Korea's Yongbyon nuclear facility in possible preparation to extract plutonium for weapons, according to an analysis by U.S. website 38 North. In a report published Wednesday, satellite images from Feb. 25 and March 2 revealed smoke coming from a steam plant that provides heat to Yongbyon's radiochemical laboratory. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on Wednesday said it has added features in RuPay cards that will allow offline transactions even in areas with limited internet connectivity, besides offering a reloadable wallet facility to boost seamless retail transactions. RuPay cardholders can make contactless offline payments at POS (point of sale) in areas with limited network and an additional feature of reloadable wallets in the form of RuPay contactless (offline) will facilitate seamless day-to-day retail transactions, the NPCI said. These additional features will augment the overall transaction experience for RuPay cardholders and revolutionise the overall card payment ecosystem, it said.
