NEW YORK, March 31 (UPI) -- Denis Leary, an actor and comedian known for his acerbic wit, says fans shouldn't hold their breath waiting for him to play a earnest hero. Sept. 3 (UPI) -- CBS All Access announced the additions of Blu del Barrio and Ian Alexander to the cast of Star Trek: Discovery for the show's third season on Wednesday. They mark the first non-binary and transgender characters in the history of Star Trek. Del Barrio will play Adira, described in a statement as "highly intelligent with a confidence and self-assurance well beyond their years."
