The use of automatic facial recognition (AFR) technology by South Wales Police is unlawful, the Court of Appeal has ruled. It follows a legal challenge brought by civil rights group Liberty and Ed Bridges, 37, from Cardiff.But the court also found its use was proportionate interference with human rights as the benefits outweighed the impact on Mr Bridges. The United States Tennis Association (USTA) says it has not ruled out the possibility of switching the US Open to a later date, after the French Open was moved back to September.USTA says it is assessing all options but is not currently implementing any changes to its schedule.The US Open, which is played in New York, is due to begin on 31 August. Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz was ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the New York Giants with back and rib injuries, the team announced Friday. League sources told ESPN and NFL Media that Ertz sustained a fractured rib in last week's game against the Dallas Cowboys. According to the team's official injury report, the veteran pass-catcher failed to practice this week and was later ruled out. Johnson, who remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, was ruled out for the pivotal NFC showdown, according to the Eagles' official injury report.
